Chili’s DJs
Nick “Nizzle” Alberts

DJ Nizzle is a lover of all things OAR and DMB… when it comes to karaoke, that is. When he’s not hosting karaoke at Marcotte’s, you might find him mixing at a local nightclub. If you offer to buy him a Captain and Coke, he might be obliged to indulge in the favor. DJ Nizzle made it to the Top 5 Nominees for Best Male KJ in NiteLife.org’s 2008 Best of the Burbs contest!
“Big Mike” Callahan

Big Mike was thought to be a Chili’s lifer. While he didn’t work a regular gig towards the end of his stint with Chili’s, he was ready to fill in where he was needed. Nowadays, you may find Mike happily hanging out at one of the DJs shows just for fun.
Officer Matt Carey

DJ Matt is our singing police officer. A lover of country music, he feels right at home at Dakota Inn! DJ Matt’s friendly face and charming voice is a hit with the regulars and newcomers alike. But hands off, ladies! DJ Matt recently married the love of his life.
DJ Mike Cinquni (another Mike C!)

Not to be confused with Big Mike, DJ Mike C. is another one of Chili’s friendly giants. His big stature matches the size of his heart AND his pipes! You’ll just have to check out his rendition of Try a Little Tenderness by The Commitments to see what we’re talking about. DJ Mike C. is as entertaining as he is attentive. You’ll definitely have a the time of your life at one of his karaoke shows.
Megan Gyrion

Recently accepting a full-time position in the world of banking, Megan has become another resident fill-in. However, this rocker chick had so many regular gigs in the past, she will most likely know any crew working at a given bar. She’ll probably be able to tell you everyone’s names and be able to rattle off the liquor specials.
“Fireman” Johnny

Fireman Johnny takes up residency at Danny Boy’s in Chicago every Wednesday. He works a few other gigs, but Danny Boy’s is where you will see the truest camaraderie among the staff and one of Chili’s hottest DJs (get it… fireman?). Johnny gets the crowd going like no other, playing all kinds of music and rocking out whenever someone steps up to the mic.
Bill “Triple B” Leffew

DJ Triple B is another one of those guys who loves the club mixes. Like Nizzle, Triple B enjoys mixing dance music to create the best mashups around. Because he’s a member of Chili’s, he also enjoys singing karaoke. His specialty is the Humpty Dance by Digital Underground
Supagon “Sonny” Sungkapan

Sonny has worked for the company for over five years and counting! You’ll see this guitar-playing songbird all over Chicagoland, four nights a week. He also might be the guy working at your block party, your kid’s school dance or your neighbor’s wedding! DJ Sonny also appeared as one of the Top 5 Nominees for Best Male KJ in NiteLife.org’s 2008 Best of the Burbs
Lou Villanueva

DJ Lou is the go-to-guy of Chili’s Karaoke. Not only does he work as a DJ/KJ, but he maintains all of the equipment and updates all of the music. A big thanks to this guy for keeping the technical side of the company in smooth operation. DJ Lou was nominated to win Best Male KJ for the 2008 Best of the Burbs.
Carrie Williams

A writer by day and a music-lover by night, Carrie likes both sides of the business. She loves performing and hosting karaoke, and she lives for writing for and about Chili’s Karaoke. In the summer, you’ll find her working her three gigs, in addition to graduation parties and block parties. If she’s not out and about, she’s at the computer, managing the Chili’s Karaoke blog. Carrie was voted Best Female KJ at NiteLife.org’s 2008 Best of the Burbs Awards Show!
Kevin Wood

With Kevin Wood being the front man of a rock band, it’s no wonder he’s a perfect fit for Chili’s Karaoke. His eccentric, quirky, outgoing personality makes him a fast favorite with his regulars. He’s got a diverse musical ability, being able to belt out songs of Elton John or create a parody of I Love Rock n Roll by Joan Jett. Kevin was the final KJ from Chil’s to be nominated Best Male KJ for the 2008 Best of the Burbs.
Xavier Joshua

DJ Xavier Joshua is one of the premier club DJs in Chicago! His Saturday night residency at Zante Lounge in Palos Hills has been rocking the Southside for years. In fact, if you don’t get to Zante before 10 p.m., not only will you not be able to find a seat, there might not be any room for you to dance on stage, as well! As one of the Top 5 Nominees for Best Club DJ for the NiteLife.org Best of the Burbs Awards in 2008, Xavier Joshua definitely boasts a loyal following.
